Alltel chose the new location primarily because of its convenient access for customers with its close proximity to I-526 and I-26. The company plans to open the store by Feb. 1, 2006. Alltel has six stores in the Charleston area: the current Leeds Avenue location, one on Sam Rittenberg Boulevard, one in Mt. Pleasant, one in Summerville, one in North Charleston and one in Moncks Corner.

McCall Center is a new shopping center managed by Quattlebaum Development Company that is located at the primary entrance to the new Centre Point development in North Charleston that is anchored by Sam's Club, Super Wal-Mart and the future Tanger Outlet Center.
